Start off the week by showing some love to our home. The Faith and Science Club and SMC are co-hosting Earth Day: A Hopeful Call to Simple Action! You can hear some news about Washington’s stewardship of our environment and actions you can take from SPU’s Energy and Sustainability Manager, Janette Plunkett. Bring your questions for the Q&A, your game face for the games, and your appetite for the food! No tree-hugging experience required.

Join BEGIN: Build, Engage, Give, Inspire, and Nurture at the Professional Development Workshop. You will receive personalized support through a Mentorship Program, help with LinkedIn profile building, resume review and networking aid. Snacks and drinks will be provided, so come hungry for both food and success.
First-Generation Career Panel

Check out the First-Generation Career Panel hosted by Center for Student Success and The Center for Career and Calling. Hear how first-generation professionals (Preston Barr and Resi Noverita) landed their first job, how they navigate the professional world, and advice they would give to any fellow first-generation job seekers! There will be free food, as well as goodie bags for the first 30 students that arrive.
