Kyle Morrison

Kyle Morrison, Sports Editor

Kyle is a senior at Seattle Pacific studying journalism. He is from Dublin, California, where he ran cross country and track for Dublin High School and was a part of the greatest team in school history (2017). When Kyle came to Seattle he immediately became a fixture in the SPU journalism department. During the 2020-2021 school term Kyle was news editor, where he broke one of the most impactful stories in Falcon history. He was the first to report on Jeaux Rinedahl’s lawsuit against the university for sexual orientation discrimination. That same year, Kyle helped architect The Falcon podcasting department, which is now a staple of the publication. In the summer of 2022, Kyle broadcasted for The Duluth Huskies, a minor league baseball team in Duluth, Minnesota, broadcasting select games on ESPN+. This year Kyle is the Sports Editor of The Falcon and co-host of The Falcon Morning Show, which airs every Monday at 9AM on KSPU. Kyle has accumulated over 110 bylines in his four year Falcon career, and is excited to finish said career with a bang in 2022-2023.
